#WednesdayWordplay is a poem-series in which readers send me a topic, a line, a picture or simply anything, which I complete/ interpret my way and present my interpretations through poetry! The idea is to present a perspective that is different from the reader's through interactive poetry.

This week's #WednesdayWordplay theme 'existence of God' (and not knowing whether to have faith in God) was contributed by Mrs.Aruna (@Arunapk57). Mrs.Aruna is a mother of two and a brave lady fighting cancer...with a smile! Her tweets inspire me and I pray for a happy life and a healthy recovery for her! If you have ideas for my #WednesdayWordplay series, write in to me or leave a comment here, the next poem could be based on what You send! ;)

  1. GOOD USE OF WORDS RADHA..... You have got the art and talent to pull people for debate and discussion..... keep it up....anything that can be pulled for debate and discussion is a good topic..... I particularly appreciate the play of words used in this poem.... but I always somehow love poems which have rhyming octaves and sextets.... Thats just my taste..... U dont have to bother....
If you are putting a question as to where is God, I would like to add few of the teachings I had received..... The word BHAGAWAAN comes from a combination of words..... 'BHA' comes from the word BHU or BHUMI meaning EARTH... 'GA'.... comes from the word GAGAN meaning SKY or SPACE..... 'WA' comes from the word WAYU, meaning WIND..... ''AA' comes from AGNI, meaning FIRE..... and '... N' comes from the word NEER, meaning WATER...... So we see that it is a combination of the words EARTH, SPACE, WIND, FIRE AND WATER...... The five elements of the ancient world with which our human body as well as the entire universe is made of..... Thus they used to say, BHAGWAAN sab cheez me waas kartey hain.... He is everywhere..... THIS IS Vishwajeet here...

  4. Wow... superbly crafted poetry... over the ages there have been different routes chalked by humanity to achieve oneness with God and as old beliefs crumble and new philosophy emerges, the concept of god constantly evolves.. great work radha :)
